Using defaults

Generate leaderboard and MVP images with Axis Manager.

Every new event already uses Axis Manager defaults. Open Results, generate, and post. You do not need your own Google Slides file.

Before you generate

Scores must already be filled in for the target lobby. Run /sheets update in Discord after roster or slot changes so the sheet matches the event.

From the web dashboard

Open the event in manager.axis-labs.xyz → Select an event →Results → Generate.

  1. Choose stage, lobby, and match scope (all matches, or one match from 1–16).
  2. Optionally turn on Generate review message for a short podium caption.
  3. Wait while Axis Manager reads the sheet and exports PNGs. This usually takes 15–30 seconds.
  4. Preview the image. Edit the Discord caption message, if you want.
  5. Pick a channel and share. If both a leaderboard and an MVP image were produced, Split allows posting them as two messages.
Optional: live values in your message

The message box accepts variables that fill in when you share. For example, GG {{rank.1.name}}! posts the winning team’s name. See variables in messages.

From Discord

On the event dashboard, Get results asks what to post: Results + MVP, Results only, or MVP only. Then pick stage, lobby, match, optional review message, and a channel.

Discord posts immediately. There is no preview. Use the web dashboard when you want to check the image first.

Pick a default design

On Results → Templates, Leaderboard and MVP each have a row per stage.

  1. Click the pencil on a Leaderboard or MVP row.
  2. Keep Presentation on Default.
  3. Pick Design 1 or Design 2, then save. Repeat for other stages if they should look different.

Stages are independent. Stage 1 can stay on Design 1 while Stage 2 uses Design 2.

Lobby size

Default leaderboard decks exist for lobby sizes of 16-25 teams. Axis Manager automatically picks the smallest deck that still fits the lobby size for that stage. A 16-team lobby uses the 16-slot deck; a 19-team lobby uses the 20-slot deck; and so on.

The MVP default is a separate presentation. Its design is consistent across all lobby sizes.

MVP

MVP is a second image, ranked by player kills, then damage, then the player's team standings rank. It is not “player 1 on the first-place team.”

If player names or kill/damage columns are empty, the MVP image can look blank. Run /sheets update and make sure those columns are filled for the matches you selected.

If generation fails

  • No synced scoring tab: run /sheets update.
  • Another scoring action is already running: wait, then try again.
  • You pointed a stage at a custom file: see custom slides.
